A large ship sails through the dense fog,
Its oarmen rowing and its sails furled,
I look out from its deck, my eyebrows high,
As it makes its journey around the world.

An indistinct shape appears in my sight.
What might it be? A ship in the night?
A ship it is, but translucent, it seems,
A ghost ship to kill all those who will fight.

It sails towards me with its ghostly crew,
And I know that from it I can never escape,
But I do not need to, for if I stay still,
It will pass me by, its notice escaped.
